Sector-Specific Learning

Benefit from a practical, accredited procurement and supply learning programme, with CIPS Syndicated Corporate Award – a chance to develop procurement team skills that have the power to deliver competitive advantage.

Corporate Award programmes provide a practical, assessment-based way of learning and an alternative route to MCIPS for learners who prefer not to study academic qualifications and sit exams. We offer a range of cross-sector, sector-specific, and in-house programmes.

Sector-specific programmes are designed to incorporate industry terminology, practices and unique challenges, driving improvements back into your organisation and providing a measurable return on investment. Syndication with other organisations also results in invaluable knowledge sharing and networking opportunities across supply chains.

For teams of eight or more, we can develop an in-house Corporate Award programme tailored specifically to your organisation.

How

Taking individual experience into account, we provide individuals with entry onto the programme on one of three levels - Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner and Master Practitioner.

The study programmes are comprised of several modules. Each module consists of two face-to-face training days or workshops, followed by coursework based on live issues encountered by staff in their day jobs. Learning is brought to life and driven back into the organisation through sector-specific case studies and work-based practical assignments. We also ensure industry-sector terminology and practices are built into each tailored programme to ensure maximum relevance to your organisation.

Successfully completing a Syndicated Corporate Award programme at Practitioner level results in Diploma Membership of CIPS, Advanced Practitioner level results in full membership of CIPS (MCIPS), subject to three years’ experience in a responsible procurement role, and Master Practitioner level results in Chartered Status.
